Choku Bai Jo proudly stocks Australian grown Produce only.
We stock produce and products from over 80 local farmers and producers.
As well as certified organic produce and fruit and vegetables direct from farms, we have a huge range of grocery lines, nuts and seeds, grass fed meats, unhomogonised milk, artisian breads and much much more!

By sourcing as much produce as we can direct from the growers, gives us the ability to sell
the freshest, lowest food miles fruit and vegetables possible at great prices.
We do not dictate what we will pay for the growers produce, we work with them. They give us a fair price and one that will enable them to continue farming - and best yet the money goes straight to them.

WHAT DO THE DIFFERENT COLOURED SIGNS MEAN ?
At Choku Bai Jo there are three ways of identifying the produce you are buying
BLUE AND COLOURED SIGNS - BLUE OR COLOURED SIGNS INDICATE PRODUCE THAT IS SOURCED DIRECTLY FROM THE FARMER/GROWER. THIS PRODUCE HAS THE DISTANCE TRAVELLED FROM FARM TO STORE, SO YOU CAN SEE THE FOOD MILES THE PRODUCE HAS TRAVELLED.
GREEN- EVERYTHING WITH A GREEN SIGN IS CERTIFIED ORGANIC. ALL GREEN SIGNS WILL HAVE THE CERTIFICATION DETAILS TO ENSURE YOU ARE BUYiNG TRUELY CERTIFIED ORGANIC PRODUCE.
ALL CERTIFIED ORGANIC PRODUCE WHICH IS DIRECT FROM THE FARMERS AND GROWERS WILL HAVE THE FOOD MILES LISTED.
WHITE - ANY WHITE SIGNS ARE PRODUCE SOURCED FROM A TRUSTED WHOLESALER OFTEN STRAIGHT FROM GROWERS OUT OF THE SYDNEY MARKETS.
Produce is often picked the day it is in store for sale-try and beat that for freshness!
We also buy produce from the community. Being it peoples back yards or properties when they have a surplass of things growing. We love encouraging community engagement in the selling and bartering of fresh produce. If you would like us to help sell your produce, please visit or contact the stores first.
